The 2005 SSAFR and SIAGEF joint meeting will bring this year the opportunity to put together researchers who work on economics, optimization/simulation, management sciences, systems analysis and information technology applied to forestry problems.

The SSAFR series started in 1975 and has been held every few years since 1985 as a primary international venue for decision science applications in forestry.

The SIAGEF series started in 2001 and offers a forum for forest economists, information specialists and system analysts to share their experiences. (Previous editions)
